Nesaru status updates

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here! Lots to update!
Lets start with XR6 (Perseus V) Nesaru.
Mission PLS-5009, September 1, 2014 – Middlefield, OH:
Second telemetry test of 1mW xmtr. Data acquisition fail. Also, backup and main apogee charge deployed simultaneously. This caused over pressurization of the fin can section, and caused separation. Repairs were needed.
Altitude: 1425 Feet.
Mission PLS-5010, March 21, 2015 – Rio Grande, OH:
Return to service flight. Also a test of all hardware & electronics to verify all repairs were made properly. Success! Flight was at Bob Evans Farm in Rio Grande, OH.
Altitude: 1496 Feet.
Mission PLS-5011, July 12, 2015 – Grove City, PA:
First flight with upgraded 60mW telemetry transmitter. Telemetry test 3. Success!
Max Altitude: 1507 Feet.
Mission PLS-5012, July 12, 2015 – Grove City, PA:
Second flight of 60mW telemetry transmitter. Telemetry test 4. Success!
Max Altitude: 1549 Feet.
Mission PLS-5013:
Next launch for Nesaru is set for December 12, 2015 in Columbus, Oh. – Weather permitting. The mission plan is to fly to 2,900 – 3,010 feet for a longer range test of the telemetry system. Details to come…
